Rooms are facilities that allow users to book and invite users to them.

Desks are facilities that allow users to book but cannot invite others to them.

Both rooms and desks share the same set of business rules, permissions and access rights.

Rooms and desks must belong to a location. This allows them to be mapped to a layout.

Rooms and desks can be classified by categories and can be filtered by them during booking.
